Biometric Data Policy
1. Purpose
This Biometric Data Policy explains how Tekkers Inc. ("Tekkers," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects biometric data as required by the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) and its biometric data amendments (effective July 1, 2025).
Tekkers is an athletic performance analysis platform that uses computer vision technology to analyze movement patterns from video. This policy applies to all users whose biometric data we process.
2. What Biometric Data We Collect
When you upload a video to Tekkers for analysis, our computer vision system extracts the following biometric data:

| Gait characteristics | Movement patterns (stride length, frequency, symmetry) |
| Temporal patterns | How movements change across sessions (technique development) |
What we do NOT collect: Facial recognition data, fingerprints, iris scans, voiceprints, or location data. Our pipeline explicitly discards facial landmark data before storage.
3. Purpose of Collection
We collect biometric data solely for the purpose of athletic performance analysis:
- Analyzing strike technique, body mechanics, and ball physics
- Generating personalized coaching feedback and drill recommendations
- Tracking skill development over time (99 Card ratings)
- Improving our analysis algorithms (aggregated, de-identified data only)
4. How We Protect Your Data
- Encryption at rest: AES-256 encryption on all stored data
- Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2+ for all data transfers
- Access control: Least-privilege IAM roles restrict data access
- Raw video deletion: Original video files are automatically deleted 7 days after processing
- Facial data discarded: Facial landmarks are stripped during processing and never stored
5. Retention and Deletion
- Raw video: Deleted within 7 days of processing
- Biometric analysis data: Retained while your account is active and consent is valid
- Upon consent revocation: Analysis data deleted within 30 days
- Upon account deletion: All biometric data deleted within 30 days
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View what biometric data we hold about you
- Delete: Request deletion of your biometric data at any time
- Revoke consent: Withdraw consent for biometric processing through your account settings
- Portability: Request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format
7. Consent
We require your explicit, informed consent before collecting or processing any biometric data. Consent is:
- Collected through an affirmative opt-in (not pre-checked boxes)
- Recorded with timestamp, IP address, user agent, and consent version
- Revocable at any time through your account settings
- Refreshed every 24 months
8. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell biometric data. We share biometric data only with:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (AWS) for secure storage and processing
- Our AI service provider (Anthropic) for coaching narrative generation — only aggregated metrics are shared, not raw biometric data
9. Age Restrictions
Tekkers requires users to be 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect biometric data from children under 13. If we discover we have collected data from a user under 13, we will delete it immediately.
